Winter Time is Here

This year I decided to step off the Christmas machine. It was a decision based purely on my spiritual welfare. Rushing around in an exhaustive state, especially during a season where we should be going inwards and taking time to rest in preparation for the coming year, no longer serves my higher good.

Winter is a time of going within. A time that is dormant and a time to rest. A time for incubating new ideas in the stillness of dark days. To me, the darkness of winter represents a womb, a place where I need to grow and change, ready for a rebirth when the light returns.
